| Density is defined as how thick or thin the hair on your lace wig will be. The standard and most popular choice is 80~100% which is light to medium density (light around the hairline, medium at rest of cap). Most of Jacksun Stock wigs is 80% (light) density around the perimeter and 100% (medium) elsewhere,also with some heavy density 130%, 150% and 180% in stock . We even are able to do 200% density . For custom order, you may specify your density in deatail on the order form .
Naturally growing hair grows differently for every person. Hair can grow thin (light) around the perimeter (hairline) and thick (medium) in the middle. Hair can also grow thick (medium) around the perimeter (hairline) and thickest (heavy) in the middle. Below is a Hair density Chart that you can use as a visual guide.
40% is “ very light “
50% and 60% is “ extra light “, it looks natural at the hairline on a lace with bleached knots.
70% and 80% is “ light “ density, like real hair.
100% is medium density, most of ladies like their wigs light to medium density, so that could be 70% to 100% density
120%~130% is “ heavy “ density .That is a good choice if you want the hair look full.
150% is “ extra heavy” density, it is just for the lady who wants her hair very full.
170%~180% is very heavy density. |
